Female Infertility Blood Test

Female infertility blood tests are typically used to measure hormone levels in the body and to check for any underlying health conditions that may be causing fertility problems. Various tests can be performed, and the specific tests that are ordered will depend on the individual’s symptoms and medical history. Some of the most common Female Infertility Blood Tests are: Anti-müllerian hormone can be detected by a blood test called the AMH Female Infertility Blood Test (AMH). The level of AMH can provide insight into ovarian function. Their ovarian reserve is what we refer to as. Very low levels may indicate a deficient ovarian reserve. FSH testing is another infertility blood test for females. FSH, the hormone that causes your ovaries to prepare an egg for release each month, can be measured in your blood through a blood test. Women who have high FSH may have reduced fertility. In the early part of your menstrual cycle, the FSH blood levels are tested (often on day 3). The TSH test measures the level of thyroid-stimulating hormone in the blood. This hormone is responsible for regulating the production of eggs in the ovaries. A high level of TSH can indicate that the ovaries are not producing enough eggs. The LH test measures the level of luteinizing hormone in the blood. This hormone is responsible for triggering ovulation. A high level of LH can indicate that the ovaries are not releasing eggs properly. The Prolectin AB test measures the level of the hormone progesterone in the blood. Progesterone is necessary for sustaining a pregnancy. High levels of prolectin are associated with a successful pregnancy.

Note: No prior preparations are required before these tests.
